Hi, I’m Yasini, and I’m 12 years old.
Yasini is a 07th-grade student attending Carfax school in Hatton. She has a younger brother and a younger sister. Yasini’s mother is unemployed and looks after her baby sister when Yasini and her brother go to school. Her father is working as a laborer at a construction site and that’s the only source of income her family has. Yasini walks 2.5 KM twice a day to get to school and back as they can’t afford to pay for public transportation.
