Nilushika is a 6th-grade student and attends Hornsey College at Bathford Estate, Dickoya. She walks 2 KM daily to get to school, and her parents are unable to afford the expenses of public transportation for Nilushika to get to school. She has 2 siblings, and her grandmother is sick and on medication. Nilushika’s mother is a tea plucker on the Bathford Estate, and her father works as a temporary laborer.
