Onasis is a 4th-grade student studying at Puliyawatta Primary Tamil School. He walks 2 KM every day to get to school as his parents are unable to afford the public transportation fees. Onasis is the only male and the youngest child of a family of 3 children. His parents’ meager earnings—the mother working on a tea plantation and the father as a laborer—are not enough to pay for the children’s food, education, and the elderly mother’s medication.
