Dhanushiya is nine years old, and is from Sri Lanka. She lives with her parents, and her little sister. Dhanushiya attends Bonaccord Tamil vidyalaya, and walks there everyday. Dhanushiya spends most of her time with her little sister Kirijali. Her father is employed in Colombo, and her mother is an estate worker. Even though both her parents are employed the family’s income is inconsistent and insufficient to meet their basic needs as they had to raise two children who are schooling. Dhanushiya is interested in drawing and colouring compared to other subjects at school. Her performance at school is average. Dhanushiya’s family lives in the area of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka.
