In many rural communities of Sri Lanka, the average income of $2-3 US a day is not enough to support and feed their families. Due to this unfortunate situation, children often drop out of school and work as child laborers just to help put food on the table. A child’s most important learning occurs before the age of 5, yet the majority of these children in these communities can’t access early childhood education. Help build and equip early child development centers and train teachers to give children under 6 a bright start.
