Hi, I’m Dakshala, and I’m 07 years old.
Dakshala is a 2nd-grade student studying at Newton Tamil College.She lives in a small line house with her family in the Newton estate in Upcountry, Sri Lanka, where there are no separate rooms for them to eat, sleep and dress. She has an elder brother and a baby sister. She walks to school everyday with her big brother. Both her parents are employed as estate workers and their collective incomes are not enough for them to fulfill their basic essentials.
